NEWS: The festival will be moved to Grayson Highlands State Park (http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/gra.shtml) this year due to unforseen circumstances with Mt. Rogers School. We are excited to have the festival on the park, and camping is available there as well. The address is: 829 Grayson Highlands Lane | Mouth of Wilson, VA 24363. It will take place in the picnic area at the Henderson Stage.
Also: Admission will be $7 this year. ($3 parking per car)
Thanks for visiting the new website of the Albert Hash Memorial Festival! The festival is held in honor of the beloved fiddle-maker and fiddler, Albert L. Hash; and hopes to preserve and promote traditional mountain music, dance, crafts, and instrument making.
The festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 1st, 2012 starting at 11am and ending around 8pm. We have already started on the 2012 line-up for the fest, check out performers page for update! It will be a great day of music, dance, crafts, food and fun!
We are selling raffle tickets on a handmade quilt in the Black Bear Design by Denise Hayball. Tickets are $1 each, and you can buy them on our About Page. Proceeds go to festival fund.
